Zio Inc. dba OpenINSIGHTS (“Zio”, “Company”, “our” or “we”) is committed to protecting the privacy of the users of the Company’s website, located at zio.ci (the “Site”). We collect information about you when you sign-up for newsletters, special promotions, or initiate requests for information regarding the Company’s services (“Service(s)”). In keeping with the Company’s ongoing commitment to the privacy of its customers and clients, the Company is self-certified under the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Principles (“Privacy Shield”) as agreed to and set forth by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, the U.S. Department of Transportation and the European Union. We may automatically collect information from you when you access the Site or use or access the Services. Please note that you cannot unsubscribe from Service-related messages. If you would like us to cease all of the described uses of your personal information, you may delete your account at any time by emailing us at email@example.com. This will delete your personal data from our records, and we will make no further use of it. We may, however, retain copies of your personal data in backups. Please note that we may be required to retain certain information by law and/or for our own legitimate business purposes.
You can choose not to provide certain information when using the Site and the Services, but this may prevent you from being able to take full advantage of the functions available online and it may prevent us from being able to provide you with the Services.

You may access, correct, request deletion or request a copy of any or all of your personal data in our possession by emailing us at email@example.com, and we will honor your request within thirty (30) days. If we incur expenses to comply with your request, we may charge you a reasonable fee to cover these expenses, if permitted by law. If you believe any of the personal data we have collected from you is inaccurate, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org with a request to update this information. We will honor your requests within a reasonable timeframe.
Agents and Third Party Service Providers. To provide the Company’s Services to you, we may sometimes use other businesses to perform certain specialized services such as data processing or other technology services. In such instances, we may provide your personal data to those businesses but they are not permitted to retain or use your information for any other purpose.
Third-Party Service Providers/Technologies. In addition to technologies directly licensed by the client for use with the Company technology, the following represents a list of technologies that may be used by the Company in the course of delivering value to our clients.
Customer Service. Based upon the information you provide to us, we will communicate with you in response to your inquiries, to provide the Services you request, and to manage your account relating to Company Services. We may communicate with you by email or telephone.
We may provide you the opportunity to opt-in to additional newsletters or promotional communications sent by email. If you have opted in or otherwise qualify to receive these forms of communication, we will use your name and email address to communicate with you. Out of respect for your privacy, we provide you a way to unsubscribe, as established in the “Choice and Opt-out” section.
The security of your information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as a credit card number) on our payment forms, we encrypt that information using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. Further, we follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. That said, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
When we store information that you have provided to us when registering for the Service, that information is protected by security measures that include “firewalls” (a combination of computer hardware and software that helps keep unauthorized visitors from accessing information within our computer network) and other tools such as data encryption and physical security, where appropriate. No data transmission over the Internet or data repository can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while Company strives to protect your personal information and privacy, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you disclose or transmit to us online and cannot be responsible for the theft, destruction, or inadvertent disclosure of your personal data.
Zio offers business services, and as such, we do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 on the Site or through the Company’s Services. If you are under the age of 13, please do not provide any information to us. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under the age of 13, we will make commercially reasonable efforts to delete such information from our database.
Company reserves the right to disclose member information in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) Company’s rights or property, other visitors, list members, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities. Company also reserves the right to disclose visitor or list member information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it.
Zio participates and has certified its compliance with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework. Zio is committed to subjecting personal data received from the European Union (EU) member countries, in reliance on the Privacy Shield, to the Privacy Shield’s applicable principles.
Zio is responsible for the processing of personal data it receives, under the Privacy Shield, and subsequently transfers to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf. Zio complies with the Privacy Shield for all onward transfers of personal data from the EU, including the onward transfer liability provisions. With respect to personal data received or transferred pursuant to the Privacy Shield, Zio is subject to the regulatory enforcement powers of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission.
Under certain conditions, more fully described on the Privacy Shield website, you may invoke binding arbitration when other dispute resolution procedures have been exhausted.

Zio may, based on specific products, features, or services provided to our clients, use 3rd party partners to support value delivery. In these cases, data privacy in governed under the partner vendors privacy policies.
